Synopsis
Hermes brings word to Olympus of Diana's victory over Ares and the gods celebrate.
Back in Themyscira, on the Island of Healing, the Amazons attempt to heal an unconscious Diana's mortal wounds on the shore of the ocean. The goddesses plead to Zeus to save Diana, as Pan expresses lustful intentions towards the Amazons, which Hermes shuts down. Zeus relents to their pleas. Diana sinks deep into the ocean, and is healed by the Nereides. Diana bursts out of the ocean, fully restored, and Zeus' voice is heard, declaring that he looks forward to the Amazons "serving [him] further, and sharing in the true love of Zeus", which alarms some of the Amazons.
On Olympus, Artemis, Hera and Athena discuss how they do not trust Zeus' intentions with the Amazons.
Meanwhile, Diana asks her mother to allow her to return to Man's World, despite Hippolyte's fears. Diana feels it is her duty to teach Man the error of his ways, and expresses concern about her friends in Man's World, especially Vanessa who is still afflicted by Decay's curse. Hippolyte however, fears for her daughter, and asks for a sign from the gods. Athena appears in the from of a golden owl and presents Diana with a pair of winged sandals - a gift from Hermes that will allow her to travel to and from Man's World and Paradise Island. Hippolyte relents, but asks Diana to follow certain restrictions.
At Meredith Military Medical Center, Diana breaks into Vanessa's room and cures her condition with a special salve composed of roots, herbs and special waters from Paradise Island. Diana reunites with Etta and learns of Michaelis' death.
Meanwhile, Julia Kapatelis is visited by Myndi Mayer - a publicist who wants to make money off of the famous Wonder Woman. Julia kicks her out, seeing her as nothing but a greedy opportunist seeking to take advantage of Diana.
Julia rushes to the hospital and tearfully reunites with a now-cured Vanessa and Diana. General Hillary confronts Diana and begins hounding her with questions about the Ares Assault, which disorients Diana who is still not a hundred percent familiar with the English language. Julia, recognising that Diana needs help, reluctantly refers her to Myndi Mayer, hoping that Myndi would be able to help Diana get her message out to the people of the world better.
In the days that follow, Myndi makes Wonder Woman a massive global sensation. Meanwhile, Steve begins to question his love for his job as a soldier.
In Nottingham, England, Barbara Minerva's African manservant Chuma presents her with a newspaper on Wonder Woman. Barbara is fascinated by Wonder Woman, in particular her Lasso of Truth, which she greedily covets. Barbara asks Chuma to prepare the potion, as she needs its power to go after the lasso, and Chuma goes to visit magic plant beneath a symbol of a cheetah.
