When Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman head to a charity carnival, they're unaware that at the same time, an alien army known as the machine men are observing them. But rather than invade at once, the sinister machine men decide to use Wonder Woman as their unwitting pawn. Sending a giant food bullet, it magnetically follows Wonder Woman until it infects her. Diana initially believed it was a mosquito, but when she's giving a demonstration of her physical prowess with a tank, she immediately grows into a giantess. Worse, Diana acquires a an insatiable appetite: after eating two hot dogs, she's forced to eat both the biggest sandwich and pizza, as well as drink an entire water reservoir. With each of her steps, every building and structure at the carnival falls apart, forcing Diana to head underground, but her body keeps expanding. After the US army's weapons fail to stop her, Wonder Woman decides to send herself via rocket into outer space. Once there, she discovers the machine men armada ready to attack, but Wonder Woman eviscerates them and at the same time shrinks to normal. With the machine men gone and her body back to normal, Wonder Woman comes home, where there's a banquet held in her honor. When offered some food, Diana replies: "No, thank you! I don't think I'll be hungry enough to eat any thing for 1000 years!"
