Transformation Island(Pre-Crisis) or Reformation Island(Post-Crisis) was originally called Reform Island when it debuted in the pages of Wonder Woman #3 (1942) as the location for a penal colony built for its first prisoner: Baroness Paula Von Gunther. An islet located just off the coast of Paradise Island and protected by an electronic detection field, it is a place of rehabilitation, overseen by the Amazon Mala. It would later imprison future Wonder Woman rogues, including Doctor Poison, Cheetah, and Circe.
