Izzy Cale is the daughter of the powerful businesswoman Veronica Cale and an honorary Amazon.
History[]
Izzy was the daughter of Veronica Cale although her father's identity was hidden from her by her mother. She was much loved by her mother and her close friend Adrianna Anderson and went on to be educated at a Swiss boarding school but Izzy had her soul stolen when she was eight by the gods Deimos and Phobos who trapped her in their soul stone so they could blackmail her mother. This left her body alive and perfectly healthy but without a face and completely unresponsive to interaction with others. After seven years her soul stone would be recovered by her mother with the help of Circe but by that time Izzy had been 'rescued' by Ares who had taken her soul away from the torturing of his sons and had treated her as best he could in his prison of Themyscira.
Ten years after having her soul taken Izzy was finally reunited with her body when her mother delivered it to her with Wonder Woman and while this meant she could finally leave Ares' prison to live with the Amazons on the rest of Themyscira she was unable to leave the island as it would refracture her body and soul. While Izzy was naturally heart broken to remain separated from her mother she was happy to finally be able to live a full life with other people. Some time later Wonder Woman would reconnect Themyscira to the rest of the physical world and bring Veronica Cale to visit Izzy freely.
