Gateway City is a harbor town in California, first created in DC Comics continuity as the home of The Spectre during the 1960s. John Byrne established Gateway City as Wonder Woman's new home during his run on the title.
The city houses the Gateway City Museum of Cultural Antiquities, home to the largest collection of Greek artifacts outside of Greece. The museum employs Professor Helena Sandsmark who lives in the city with her daughter Cassandra Sandsmark.
