DC Special was an anthology series that ran from 1968 to 1971 and 1975 to 1977, which consisted of original and reprint material. Issue #3, dubbed an "All-Girl Issue", included the Wonder Woman chapter "The Cheetah's Thought Prisoners". The introduction explains that it was an unpublished story from "the Golden Age of the 1940s". H.G. Peter's signature appears on the art, but the writer is uncredited (it would have been either William Moulton Marston or Joye Murchison).
