Absolute Wonder Woman is a comic book title featuring an out-of-continuity version of Wonder Woman from the "Absolute Universe" first published in October 2024.
The "Absolute Universe" launches with the DC All In Special one-shot on October 2nd following the events of the company-wide, in-continuity story arc, Absolute Power. This alternate universe describes DC's familiar superheroes as having "come of age with fewer advantages" — Superman has no family, Batman is not rich, and Wonder Woman has grown up with no island of paradise, no Amazons, and no mission of peace.[1]
The Absolute Wonder Woman titles is headlined by writer Kelly Thompson and artist Hayden Sherman. Thompson has stated that the birth of this version of Diana "involves no patriarchy."[2]
